Ingrowing toenails occur when trauma or misshapen nails cause them to curl and dig into the surrounding skin.
In mild cases, this can be managed with routine nail care.
However, in more severe cases, a minor procedure may be necessary (as shown). This will be discussed during your consultation.
Ongoing podiatric care is essential to maintain comfort. We can also advise on preventative measures, such as toe separators, padding, and insoles, to help reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
