Hall Green Clinic

Hall Green Chiropody was established in 2005. After working in the NHS for 2 years, I decided to set up a private Saturday clinic in my father's dental surgery. The client base has increased significantly over the years. As a result, a long list of regular patients has allowed me to develop the service and expand the amount of treatment options available.

Hollywood Clinic

Hollywood Clinic was established in 2017 with Hollywood Medical Practice as its base after I moved into the area. I'm very pleased to serve my local community as well as the Solihull and South Birmingham region as a whole. The clinic operates on a Friday but has quickly become established as the only regular podiatry service in the Hollywood/Wythall area.

Home Visits

For those with limited mobility or hectic schedules, a home visit may offer more convenience. These are often arranged during the week at a mutually convenient time. Please contact me directly at either clinic to discuss availability. I cover South Birmingham, Solihull and Hollywood regions.

Have Some Questions?

Within the UK, Podiatry is the new name for Chiropody. The name was changed to fall in line with the internationally recognised name for a foot specialist. A podiatrist is a specialist in conditions regarding the foot and lower limb.
Podiatrists can give specialist advice on the prevention, management and treatment of foot and lower leg injuries. This can range from simple nail cutting, removal of hard skin and corns, to minor surgery for ingrown toe nails. Back, hip, knee and ankle pain can be as a result of 'flat feet'. These complaints can be corrected by altering foot posture using customised insoles.
There is a common misconception that it is only elderly people who need treatment of their feet- in fact, podiatrists treat people of all ages with a wide range of foot complaints.
There is not a set recommended time frame between visits to a podiatrist. At your first visit, Mark will discuss with you what would be best regarding repeat visits. Some people see a podiatrist from as often as every six weeks through to once a year for their annual foot check. At AMP, everyone is treated as an individual and a care plan will be based around you and your needs.
At your first appointment, Mark will carry out an initial assessment, taking a detailed history of your condition, along with any relevant past medical history. A physical assessment of the foot and lower limb will then be done to determine the clinical diagnosis of your complaint which will be fully explained to you by Mark. This will give you the opportunity to discuss the problem and ask any questions you may have.
